After living in Japan for many years, owner Glass Wu found herself longing for the authentic flavours of her hometown, Hong Kong. While several Hong Kong restaurants have opened in Tokyo, most remain rooted in traditional formats. Wu envisioned something different: a modern, elevated dining experience that celebrates Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine while embracing contemporary elegance and sourcing the finest ingredients from across Japan. Every corner of Moon Forest reflects her personal touch. She designed the interiors in collaboration with craftsmen, importing tiles, marble, and wallpaper materials herself, and selecting each piece of furniture one by one. Plates, glasses, and tableware were handpicked from overseas, ensuring each element enriches the sensory experience. Moon Forest is not only about food, but about the totality of the dining experience — taste and aroma complemented by beauty, texture, music, and atmosphere.
